Blue is my color

It has been officially declared several times within the past few weeks: I look good in blue.  There's a news flash.  Growing up I was usually dressed in either a pink or blue outfit--now visualizing Flora and Merryweather's wand battle--so I've always known about those colors.  I usually look my best in winter colors...so yes, blue is my color.  I got a lot of positive reaction from these photos, even though the lighting isn't the best on my face.

This week turned out to not be quite as terrible as I was anticipating.  I was expecting work overload because I had more than one important job to complete and I'm generally not really good at multi-tasking because I get so focused on what I'm currently working on.  I lose track of where I'm at if I'm interrupted by something else and it usually takes me several minutes to get myself back in the right mindset.

I didn't complete anything, but I'm nearly there and that's what I'm excited about.  I expect a great sigh of relief once "The Monster" project I've been working on for three months is done. That will only take another day or two.  Yay!!

I began putting up my personal Christmas tree today, but lights will not come on until Thanksgiving evening.  We don't overlook Thanksgiving in my family.  I set the tree up in the middle of the room the traditional European style, mostly because I need to have access to things.  The weather has been cooler and it's snowed twice, though little of it made it to the valley.  It's made me a happy person to see the white stuff again.

Last of all I went to see BYU's production of "Beauty and the Beast" today.  Their performing arts colleges are excellent and rarely have I seen a production that disappoints.  There's a lot of talent there...and they did not disappoint.  It was not total perfection, but most live performances aren't; however, it felt like Disney at its best and the audience left happy and inspired by this interpretation of the play.
